Easter Crosses

Our easter art looks at the silhouette of the 3 crosses where Jesus died for us. Easter is a special time for Christians and knowing what Jesus did so we could be forgiven of our sins. This is our final outcome and we think it looks pretty amazing.

Our Little Visitors

Year 6 had some cute little visitors to the classroom last week.
Jordyn's dog had puppies- we learnt about how long dogs have to be pregnant for, how the colours of the puppies were made through genetics and they loved having so much attention from everyone.

Cartias Challenge

After all our learning and projects on Cartias, we got to put into action the Caritas Challenge where we had to Live it, Sweat it and Move it
Students had to create a cardboard home, cook and eat rice over little gas cookers and run retrieving water up a ill.
The year 8's did a fabulous job and it tied into our inquiry perfectly. Students worked hard and we had a lot of fun. Check out some of the photos from it.

Mandarin and Caritas Challenge

We have been enjoying learning Mandarin with Miss Rayray this term. This week we learned how to introduce ourselves by giving our name, age and what we enjoy playing.

Yesterday to complete our Caritas unit about Climate Change and its impact on Pacific countries we participated in a Caritas Challenge organised by the Year 8 students. In each challenge we experienced a slice of life as people who live in poverty.
